64/60 Sports Inside The Numbers

On July the 29th of 2008 6460sports.blogspot.com was created. Christopher Lee had a vision. Christopher wanted the 64/60 to have a place online where thoughts and opinions could be expressed. The website was initially devoted to all things 64/60. Weekly Transactions, Game Recaps, Trade discussions, etc.

Since it's inception the 64/60 has changed the format. No longer are topics limited to just the 64/60. We provide commentary on the day to day events in sports. We produce weekly winners during football season for those handicappers out there. We cover the basics such as MLB, NFL, NCAA Football and Basketball. And thanks to the Idge we have expanded are coverage to include MMA and local High School Football along the 64/60 area. Thanks to the Bear Creek FP Factory we have cutting edge Fantasy information as well as a weekly Top 25 during the college football season. The Idge produces the very popular MMA Fist Fuck as well as various articles covering everything from Pro Wrestling to Ultimate Frisbee. For the illiterate followers out there the Idge is a big fan of picture post often letting the image do the talking. Of course the bread and butter of this operation is the weekly In-N-Out post that follows the events within the 64/60 during the baseball and football seasons.

In total 716 Articles have been posted on this site. Many of these have been posted by yours truly. Often times after spending three hours working on something I ask myself why in the hell do I do this. I mean only about a handful of people will ever see it and those who do rarely ever give any feedback which is what you live for when you post something. Earlier in this week however I stumbled on something. Blogspot has added a new tool that let's you see just how much traffic your site generates. You see what devices are used to navigate to your site. You see the geographical map of viewers and various other interesting data. Let's just say after viewing the details the number of eyeballs I had presumed to have stumbled on the site was just under the actual viewers. Here are some of the more interesting numbers (Please keep in mind that the data has just been tracked since May of 2010).

Other Audience Tidbits: Internet Explorer is the most used browser or 64/60 patrons while Windows is the preffered Operating System. The IPhone ranks second while the Nintendo Wii produced only two hits. Perhaps the 64/60 marketing department needs to focus on the growth potential. As I am typing this post 13 viewers within the United States are looking at the 64/60 pages. Today we had 97 viewers on our site and over the last week 392 viewers.....................UPDATE now three minutes later we still have 13 viewers which tells me they love the material on these pages.

We aren't were we would ultimately like to be. In a dream world we could someday turn this into a proffitable business. In reality however I am pleased to know that the hours and hours spent producing barely readable material is going out to other beyond the 64/60 area. For those first time viewers I hope you find something you like and please leave a comment and tell us what you think..........UPDATE we still have 13 viewers.

My love for fantasy football aside in the future my team name is THE ARGUMENTATIVE NINE IRONS and until I change it all reference to my performance or lack of should be preceded by the proper team name.

Thank You
