Developing a pattern....

To say that last weekend was a complete debacle, well, would be an understatement... My beloved Redlegs get a no-no tossed at em' in game one and then they forget how to play a simple game of toss in game two. The most Offensively potent team in the game and the best defensive team to boot self destruct. It was hard to watch. It was even harder to fathom how both those scenarios would cost us games. The Reds took a big shit on their regular season when the leaves started to fall. Now, back to the no-no real quick... Just because Cabrera is the one who called the umps out for a generous strike zone which helped Halladay get his Golden Goose Egg, does not mean that what was said wasn't true. Go back and examine the game footage. Cabrera was exactly on point. MLB Umps have made moor of a mess with their ineptness this season than BALCO could ever dream of doing. The players union is getting the meeting they wanted in December with the Umps, and I for one hope that it's a bloodbath... On the plus side, while it's hard only days removed to find the silver lining in the dark blown post-season cloud, take solice in the fact that the 'legs have a very good nucleas in place for more runs at the post-season in the years to come. I don't care what some front-porch pundits think, the pitching is NOT what did the Reds in and it IS a good staff, and WILL continue to be. The Reds are going to hang another divison title in Great American next season, go ahead and count on it. Staffers like Wood and Bailey will develop, Chapmania will be running wild and better than this year, and Bruce and Stubbs should continue to blossom into All-Star caliber players. We need a closer, but that is just small stuff. And yes, I will be watching, no matter what our record is, and not just be a Grateful Red is the team is playing well. Meaning, I will not jump on board the bandwagon of some team who may be the sexy or trendy team of the day, i.e. like anyone who pulls for Tampa.
And how could we not notice the Bengals get complacent, the coaching staff making horrible calls in the wanning minutes and allowing the Tampa Bay Fucs to not only come back in the fourth quarter but WIN in Paul Brown. That IS more embarassing than losing to Cleveland, which the league's most UNDER-ACHIEVING franchise did the week before. It's just deplorable how this could happen, and to a team which has the potential, not too mention the expectations, to be the best in the conference. TO has been a HUGE brightspot and anyone who says that he hasnt is a douche. TO has thus far been the man. and Ocho has been pulling his weight too. So just in case you are going to use the same old tired excuses to hate the two, here is your dose of Fuck You. Just quit it. You put that with our Defense, which granted has under-performed at times and our Tight End and Backfield, how in the hell are we NOT Destroying people??? Two reasons, the world's most dangerous CPA Carson Palmer is not pulling his weight in salary and Marvin Lewis. If Lewis is oblivious to what is going on now, by week 9 he will be in tank tops and flip flops on the sidelines because Marvin, you are in the hotseat.
Randy Moss back in Minneapolis. The Pride of Dupont has come full circle. Now, you are going to see the real Wes Welker and the real New England offense. They are about to be outed. Unfortunately for Randy, apparently Old Man Pigskin has been doing more than throwing catch with high schoolers and making Wranglers commercials. Word has it that Farve suffers from the same disease as Tiger Woods. It's called I'M A SPORTS STAR AND I'M ENTITLED TO PUSSY. Ben Smorgesburger thought he was stricken by this disease as well, but was prooven to not be when it was found out that the vagina didnt throw it's self at him, he threw it down forceably.
Another coach who has to be feeling some heat is Joker Phillips. Dear God Jokey, why the hell did you not just let them score ??? Kentucky was firing on all cylinders, and Auburn had NO ANSWER for Randall. None. Nada. Cam Newton was all he was hyped up to be, but shit, RANDALL COBB IS THE BEST IN THE SEC. PERIOD. This week, we have to play the would be kings from South Carolina. To mildly put this, Steve Spurrier, while he may in fact date Trans-sexuals, owns out ass. I have said all season I thought SC was the BEST team in the SEC. They took down Bama, which ended up fucking us all because now those FIFOs from Columbus are the new number one. Kentucky needs to stop the bleeding, and they need to do it quickly, but, the Cocks are not the desired opposition to do this against. But, I'm not going to rule out the CATS running the table on the remaining portion of their schedule. I am serious about that too...It jsut really sucks to not be ale to blame MIke Hartline for our troubles...Have Mike Leach on the line....
So, down the shitter that weekend went, but put your gloves on and pull your self out of the septic tank, the weekend is upon us.... It's time to renew...
P.S. Ironton just scored on Ashland again....
(Special shout-out to the 'Phenomal' AJ McKnight.....That dude is a class act and get's what the Idge is doing here.)
