Terrence Jones D-League Player of the Week.. Who? Terrence Jones

 Terrence Jones scored 27 points in the most recent Rio Grande Valley Vipers outing, and added 7 rebounds to led his Vipers to a victory over the Maine Red Claws, and remaining in 2nd place in the NBDL, in route to winning the USABasket.com Player of the Week award.

Jones is having a good run in the D-League this year, being bounced to and from Houston to Rio Grande. In the NBDL, Jones is in the top 10 in scoring and rebounding for the season.

Jones has also played well, sometimes even down right impressive when he has taken the floor for the big team, the Houston Rockets this season. Jones has appeared in 11 games for the Rockets.

With all the top picks who are seeing more time in a D-League uni than ever before, one has to wonder why so many other kids horny to leave school early, don't see this and realize they are not going to be NBA stars, let alone NBA regulars for a few seasons anyways.

The color green probably has a lot to do with that,actually.
