The former NWA champ is still in the hospital, the result of his October heart attack/stroke which he suffered at his Florida
home. Windham also had to have knee surgery, due to an
injury that he sustained in a fall, which was the result of his,
ironically, near 'widow-maker' episode. Windham is now
coherent and mobile, walking around his Florida hospital
room. His father, Blackjack Mulligan(Bob Windham), hopes
that his son will be released soon, and able to recover the rest
of the way at his home.
