Haymakers and Hail Mary

The last decade or so has been rough on Notre Dame football. It's not been very, well, Notre Dame.
However, they still have those loyal supporters, begging, waiting, and praying for those damn echoes to get stirred up into a frenzy.
In section 116, all you need to stir up the crowd is alcohol. And slander the Notre Dame QB.
That is exactly what happened against Purdue last Saturday. It appears that a group of Purdue fans were heckling the name of Tommy Rees, something that Notre Dame fan's themselves do. However, on this day, somebody had one too many boilermakers, and not of the Purdue kind, and in the words of Dee Snyder, well, just wasn't going to take it anymore.
The awesome part of this, is that the person who decided to start swiggin' and swingin', was Meghan Rees. Sister to Tommy Rees.
Purdue Police were called to the disturbance and when they got there, the whole crowd pointed out Megan as being the guilty party. She was escorted out of the stadium.
Something tells me, drunk or sober, Meghan has probably had to do this sort of thing a lot being Tommy's sibling.
Your sister fighting a crowd of rival fans drunk, however, is a lot better than having your sister date the dude who is sacking you all afternoon. What's up Brady?
So, in honor of Tommy Rees having his honor defended by his sister, we give you this... Mighty Sons of Notre Dame, indeed.
