Well, Adidas has went NIKE. They have given in and making those redic concept-ish throwback inspired uniforms, too.

When college football is opened in grand fashion on NBC with it's prime time "Under The Lights: Notre Dame vs. Michigan" broadcast, both teams will sport the uniforms that look like George Jetson would wear, and not necessarily very throwback-ish.

And gasp, The Irish are going to have a logo/emblem on their golden domes.

They actually don't look too bad, and a lot better than most of the Nike abominations in recent years.(which Kentucky will now be sporting after years of trying to not let Nike have their way)

So, for the first time in 50 years, ND will not be naked on their heads.
