*The game of the year so far is this wed. night when the dominate Duke Blue Devils play Michigan state. If Duke wins they will have beat 2 top 5 teams in the early stages of the season. The acc is a soft conference and if North Carolina is as bad as they have looked, it will be softer. as much as it hurts to say, Duke is looking better then they did last year. In case anyone forgot, they won it all last season. Kyrie Irvin is for real. Even Coach K likes a one and done every now and then.
*UConn beat Michigan state and UK in the course of 28 hrs. UConn was picked by the Big East coaches to finish 10th in the conference. I think they might be a little better then expected. well, as long as Kimba walker keeps up the Naismith caliber year.
*I think the back half of the top 25 will be a revolving door this year. Parity is all over college basketball and there is a slim difference between the 18th ranked team and the 35th ranked team. This is great for the sport, since the Ncaa tourney is what everyone watches. There will be a few George Mason/Butler's this season. Holler if you hear me san diego state, UNLV, BYU.
*as soon as I was ready to annoint the Big Ten as the best conference this year, the Big East keeps on winning. I will still take the Big Ten as the best overall conference because the Big East is as top heavy as it always is.
*UK's RPI at the end of the season will be sick if UConn, Indianna, and Notre Dame keep on winning. Given that UK beats Indianna and Notre Dame later this year.

March Madness should be replaced with a system that mathematically chooses the top two teams, mostly based on losses, then invites them to play one game to determine who is the best in the nation.
All the other teams can go play exhibition games.
I would certainly watch alot more college basketball.
The final game experience would certainly be much more rewarding than a tournament. There would no longer be those annoying brackets to fill out.
Makes sense doesn't it?
haha not really. I never said the Bcs made sense, I just think a big 12 team tourny doesn't make sense either.
a 4 team playoff in college football I could buy into.
they are thinking about making march madness 96 teams deep. i dont think that makes sense either.
I didn't ask if the BCS made sense. I asked if my statement did.
