*Duke v. K state is tonight, so someone will be out the top 5 after that matchup.

*The most impressive team that i have watched has been K state. They look for real and are the odds on favorite for the Big 12 title. selby being elligible for Kansas makes this a little tougher for the wildcats.

*UNC and Harrison Barnes have had trouble in the early going. I love this. while i am not as down on barnes as gilbert is, I also think the preseason all american selection was a little premature. Larry Drew III is not an elite passer/distributer, so the team suffers.

*I have been impressed with the golden gophers so far. However, they play in what i think is the best conference in basketball this year. as soon as the conference season starts this team could have 8 - 10 losses on the year. I do think they are a tourny team, but i would buy the under on a sweet 16.

*I want UK to play Michigan state very badly. Even if they get matched up together in maui and lose, the experience and RPI boost will be worth it. However, I think UK is a sleeping giant right now and a big win over Msu could wake them up. Terrence Jones for first team sec this year.

I agree that The Cats from Manhattan are a good team, I actually think right now they are a final four caliber team.
I am not necessarily down on Barnes, I'm just not up on him, either. He has underperformed thus far, according to hype. I just find a lot of karma and justice in it. He will more than likely have a good season, but He is no John Wall, and he is not even Terrence Jones.
The BIG 10 does look strong, but I think the SEC is going to be stronger than what a lot of people think, or willing to put on paper. Vandy has suprised most early on, and the potential is there in Georgia. Kentucky is also better than anybody could have expected, and damn can we shoot.
Duke, in all their glory, is primed for a big loss soon. I noticed it in the Marquette game, you survive the storm and flurry, and then you attack... Duke doesn't have a whole lot of holes, so you have to rip in where you can.
It's scary with UK playing lke this to imagine if the Turkey was free...
The Cats have an oppurtunity to show exactly where we stand tonight in Maui, and Terrence Jones and the emotion that will follow him sans recruitment process will make the Cats and Huskies must see TV and a brawl.
Right now, Michigan State is also a solid and very comfortable Final Four pick. Izzo just wins up in Michigan. Our young Cats could beat them I think around Febuary, but maybe not in November.
I don't see Pitt staying on top in the Big East. I do see Louisville and the Cuse fighting it out by season's end.
And they got a huge Chubby for Tubby up in the land of 1000 lakes, and for good reason, Minnesota as I said before is going to be an elite 8 team, and a darkhorse to win the Big 10.

agreed.

Im not really down on Tubby, I just think Msu, Osu, Missouri, and Purdue are better.

I am rooting for him tho, since I really dont like anyone from the big ten except Michigan state. just have to respect them.
