There are some rumblings coming out of Huntington about the The Herd...and 1st year coach Doc Holliday. MIght even be some of the same type of rumblings that are coming from the people in Lexington..listen closely and I think that it will sound familiar...Now, of course, Marshall is a far cry from Randy and Chad, and it should have never left the MAC...but let's be completely honest...Marshall is in far better shape than it would have been had Mark Snyder not resigned last season...A near win over Big Brother almost brought Huntington to an erruption of epic proportions, but they have shown that they can not seem to keep up a good performance for 4 quarters...and there in lies the problem...I do believe that Marshall will right the ship eventually, and that Doc will be the leader at the helm when it is done...I mean, in Lexington, we have one of the nation's most explosive offenses at our finger tips, yet questionable play calling from the side lines have sabbotaged what could have been a very special and over-achieving season in the Athens of the East... Marshall, take away the WVU collapse, has a little less blame to be placed on sideline play calling, and more on the cohesiveness and experience on the field... Regardless, I think the people in Huntington just need to chill out, go have a burger at Fat Patty's, stroll around Pullman a few times and dodge friendly fire down at Habbachis(sic)...Cause to be honest, the problems facing Lexington, with what we have in our arsenal, are far more pressing....And besides, Mark Snyder damn near killed the culture at Joan Edwards..it's gonna take time...
