Spreadology 2010

I only have one question. Have you finally decided to follow me and win money or are you still doubting my new found talents and letting opportunity after opportunity pass you by? For those of you who have relied on me this season then no doubt your life has been filled with fast cars, loose women, and night after night of the proverbial High Life. Last weeks 3-2 mark puts the season total at 19-11. And once again this week looks to be filled with winner after winner.

Notre Dame vs. Navy +6. Navy has gotten the better of this matchup the last three seasons winning two of three and all contest have been decided by 6 points or less. The Irish come in banged up Rudolph is out for the year. Reddick should miss this one. Allen has battled injuries the last two weeks and All-American Michael Floyd is questionable. None of the above will prevent the Irish from winning this contest by less than 2 TD's. The Irish D has been consistent this season but has suffered from the big play. The Midshipmen simply don't have that playmaker on offense. The Irish will move the ball at will and as long as they don't turn the ball over on multiple occasions this is a laugher.

Michigan State vs. Nortwestern +7.5. MSU is undefeated and many people feel that the Spartans have a good shot at running the table IF they can beat IOWA on the road. It just so happens that the big CIRCLE game comes next week. The Spartans come out flat, Northwestern is good enough to make it a game and no doubt Fitzgerald will pull out all of the stops. Nortwestern not only covers but I like them to win outright.

Oklahoma vs. Missouri +2.5. A battle of unbeatens, Missouri no doubt faces their stiffest competition of the season. This matchup could also be the toughest game on the remaining regular season schedule for the Sooners who are looking at a possible title game invite. The Sooners aren't the most talented team in the country but they have been tested this season, not so much for the Tigers. Gary Pinkel has never beaten Oklahoma and the first won't come this week. The Sooners in another route.

Patriots vs. Chargers -3.5. East Coast teams typically don't play well when traveling to the West Coast. However you often aren't getting points when you have a HOF Coach and QB and are playing a below .500 team. Consider me a value searching shopper on this one and give me the Pats.

Vikings vs. Packers -3. The Packers will go as far as Aaron Rodgers can take them because he is their entire team. The D commits to many penalties and doesn't consistently stop anyone. The Offense is entirely dependent on Rodgers. They aren't capable of running the football even enough to keep the opposing D honest. The Vikings will go point for point with the Pack and the Viking D will make more stops on the way to another comfortable spread cover.

What To Watch While Your Getting Plastered

LSU vs. Auburn CBS 3:30- You get Cam Newton and Les Miles what more could you ask for. What kind of late game chaos does the Hat have in store this week. Chances are he'll need a big trick play or two to outscore the leading Heisman candidate.

Notre Dame vs. Navy CBS 12:00- This game has no real value to non-fans however I do feel as though this game will be a good measuring stick in evaluating what Kelly has done this season. The Irish have lost two of three and haven't had a blowout in four seasons in this mathcup that they onetime owned.

Oklahoma vs. Missouri. ABC/ESPN 8:00- Battle of undefeated's will give Oklahoma another quality win on the resume or would drastically move the Tigers up in the polls.

Vikings vs. Packers. NBC 8:00- It's Favre in a different uniform and it's Lambeau what more could you ask for?

If Northwestern wins, I will tell everyone I know that you are the greatest mind in sports today.

However, I would never tell anyone that you are the greatest mind in sports today, so Northwestern won't win. (Dave will appreciate the humor here, albeit it's flaws.)

Mark it dude.
