Spreadology 2010

For those of you keeping track at home last week marked three straight weeks at 4-1. For those of you who have faith in the Factory you have been handsomely rewarded. Sure we have caught some breaks along the way but in this business how many times have you suffered from the so called "bad beat". On the year the Factory is riding high at 14-6 and for you mathematically challenged kiddies out their thats 70% way above the threshold to make money. I've got a feeling that many of you doubters out their are going to hitch a ride on the wagon of the band. We here at the Factory hold no grudges. "Come on in the water is fine." is the slogan we go by. So empty out those piggy banks if times are bad I reccommned robbing your children. They sleep in your home eat your food and you would be suprised how much money they collect from Grandma and Grandpa's. If you feel guilty about this practice don't worry you can pay it back next week after your winnings come in. Just remember give them some juice for the trouble.

Givem Or Takem Money Makin Picks Of The Week

Arkansas vs. Texas AM +6. Last year Arkansas rolled AM in Arlington but if you look from a yardage standpoint AM actually outgained the Hogs but just couldn't get in the endzone. Arkansas is coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Tide two weeks ago and no doubt spent the bye week focusing on the future rather than the past. AM's D is nothing short of terrible and the Hogs should easily surpass 450 yards in this contest. AM can move the ball but QB Jerrod Johnson is prone to TO and the Hogs D is a big upgrade over anything the Aggies have seen this season. ARKANSAS in a route.

Illinois vs. Penn State -7.5. The Illini played OSU tough last week while the Nittany Lions showed little fight against the Hawkeyes. PSU compiled over 500 yards of offense in this contest last season and although Clark is no longer undercenter and Bolden has struggled at times, RB Evan Royster returns as well as 4 of the 5 lineman that in part generated over 300 yds on the ground in this contest last season. Saturday is Homecoming for the Nittany Lions and nobody and I mean nobody goes into the Beaver and doesn't pay a price. PSU is the Pick.

Auburn vs. Kentucky +6. The Tigers from the plains of Alabama travel to the Bluegrass State to take on the Wildcats who are licking their wounds from a bad loss last week to the Rebels of Ole Miss. The Cats suprised Auburn last season winning in Jordan-Hare and snapping a 15 game Tiger winning streak. This game has Trap written all over it. A SEC road game facing a team who has struggled of late and Arkansas looms on the schedule next week. I refuse to buy into that. Auburn simply has to many weapons on offense and a very solid defense. Auburn is the Pick

Saints vs. Cardinals +7. No need to analyze this decision. The Saints are the defending Super Bowl Champions. The Cardinals have been a terrible squad this season and now are turning to a undrafted rookie QB in Max Hall. It will be a long day in the dessert for Max Hall. The Saints are the Pick.

Falcons vs. Browns +3. The Falcons have been the class of the NFC thus far while the Browns have looked better in losing but let's face it their still the Browns. This line makes no sense at all and screams stay away from it. A classic to good to be true line. Piss on it. I'll go against me better judgement and ride the Falcons in a route. The thought off seeing a 30-10 Falcons win on the Ticker on Sunday and not have laid the money down would make me ill. So screw my better judgement the Falcons are the pick.

Recap: Arkansas -6, Iowa -7.5, Auburn -6, Saints -7, Falcons -3.

Your TV guide for a Nacho and Beer Weekend.

If you are a family man and have to devote sometime to the others this may be the weekend to pay it forward. No huge BCS deciding games on the slate on Saturday and no elite NFL squads face off on Sunday.

Saturday

FSU vs. Miami. 8PM ABC If you just focus on the uniforms and the team names you can think back to the 80's and parts of the 90's when this matchup was a National Title eliminator. Last years contest was a instatnt classic perhaps it can be duplicated.

LSU vs. Florida. 7:30 ESPN Any matchup that includes Les Miles will have a moment that is like a car wreck you can't turn away from. First team to 14 wins.

Sunday

Chiefs vs. Colts. 1PM CBS (Check Local Listings or get NFL Sunday Ticket) The NFL's lone undefeated team finally will face a legit opponent let's see how they stand up.

Monday

Vikings vs. Jets. 8:30 ESPN. The Best game on the slate this week and the edition of Moss just makes it better.

For a special treat here's Les Miles postgame rant after last weeks loss...I mean win over the Vols......The Hat is classic.
