Missing Parts for the Playoff Push.
BC Dingers- No real weakness on this squad. Offensively the Dingers could use another SB threat but Ellsbury will provide the remedy for that issue when he returns in the next couple of weeks. Back end of the rotation is questionable at this point but Anderson should return by weeks end. Could use a definitive closer as all three of his options could be out of a job by next week.
9irons- Certainly needs some offensive help. The 9irons have a respectable offensive ranking of 43 but in HR/Runs and RBI their is a large discrepencie between the 9irons and the top offensive teams in the league. Morneau and Utley will eventually return but even with those additions another big bat would be welcomed. Pitching wise the 9irons have been tops in the league nearly all season and no major issues are apparent.
Worldwide- One of the elite offensive squads in the league but is in need of a elite SB threat as Worldwide is second to last in the league in SB. Pitching is in need of an upgrade. Even though Jimenez has struggled of late the front end of the rotation is among the leagues best. Another closer or two would eliminate some of the lesser quality back end rotation options and would increase the low Save totals of Worldwide.
Colonels- First and foremost activity will certainly help. Secondly the Colonels could use some help offensively. Much like the 9irons statistically they look good but their is some significant distance between the Colonels and the top offensive squads. The Colonels could use another solid starter and could part with a closer to accomplish this.
Stars- Another team in need of an offensive threat. The Stars could really use a across the board producer who is a contributor in every stat. Pitching wise the Stars could use another arm. The Stars could chose to go with 3 Closers which would increase the SV opportunities while at the same time bolstering the rotation by eliminating the weakest link.
41129ers- The man does so much tweaking that it's hard to keep up with him. Assuming the Soria deal goes through then the 41129ers could be in need for another starter. Even with the addition of Soria another closer would be welcomed. Offensively this team needs a major power hitter and run producing threat. Outside of Hamilton this team has no player who is a threat to produce 100 RBI on the year.
BCFP- Would love to add a stud pitcher by the deadline. Much like the Dingers, all four of my closers could be 7th or 8th inning guys by next week, outside of Fuentes. Therfore a reliable option would be attractive. One of the 3 elite offensive squads in the league with no weakness if all players remain healthy.
Carp- Another team with a large discrepencie on offense. The Carp really needs more depth. The Carp is very top heavy on offense with the likes of Votto, Werth, A Rod and Zimmerman. Perhaps package one of these players for two or three Ty Wigginton type players. Would make a perfect trading partner for the 41129ers. Really good rotation and bullpen depth. Has not issues at the moment with the pitching staff.
Vonderheides- Has struggled all season on offense and has made attempts to better the situation over the last two months. Braun hasn't been the elite level player you would expect nor has Longoria. Add Dunn and Cruz to the mix the Vonderheides have nice pieces to bring back more depth. Pitching wise the Vondies could use some additional closers to assist Cordero and in the process cut down on some of the back end of the rotation question marks.
Smackers- Another team that changes so frequently it's hard to keep up. If the pending trade is approved then the Smackers would add some much needed starting pitching. This move will also allow the Smackers to drop some of the K/9 killing starters and improve his pitching across the board. On offense the Smackers are in desperate need of a marquee player and would be a perfect trading partner for a team such as the Carp or the Vondies who need to add depth. The Smackers have plenty of viable options but are void of a superstar who can often carry a team.
H&D- Somehow this team has hung on all season. It could be wonderful management by AC who tirelessly reads Baseball Prospectus and searches the web to find the latest trends and projections into the future. Though this team is in 11th place they would likly be better just staying put. Most of their struggles this season can be attributed to poor hitting which is the result of an injury to Tulo along with down years from A. Hill, Aramis Ramirez and Joe Mauer. Only Mauer could possibly warrant two B players in return so your better of hoping for the best going forward. Ramirez has been on fire the last two weeks while Mauer had 7 RBI on Monday. Should this team begin to hit the pitching is among the leauges best with no apparent weakness. Latos could be shutdown at some point but I find it hard to believe that the Padres would pull the plug in the middle of a pennant race. Niether Axford or Capps aren't locks to finish the season as the man but niether have warranted losing the job. Besides if this team runs into trouble no doubt AC already has a plan in place.
Rubber Duckies- No worth analyzing. Start building for 2015.

Who is the manager of H & D?Lets kick em out of the league for no other reason except that they are killing me this week.GRC3
Jose Batista is not capable of going for over 100 rbi's? That is ludicrous, he already has 30 homers and 75 rbi's. Nice try though.
Bautista could be a 100 RBI guy. Sorry for the oversight. The intent of the statement was to claim that Hamilton is your lone Run Producing threat you can bank on if healthy. Given Bautista's low AVG and contact rates he is a prone to slumps. Would it really shock you if Jose would slump and fail to reach the 100 RBI number this year? Not me. Love the passion Butch. Can we expect to see another trade go down?
I have about 4 trade proposals on the table as we speak.
Batista will get 100 this season, all I have heard all season long was how this season is a fluke for him, well he has already hit 3 homers this week. Every time they trash him he rises in the face of criticism and makes them look foolish, I look for him to continue to do this over the course of the rest of the season. As long as he keeps that boner he should be ok. and YES it would very much surprise me if he did not reach 100.....he already has 75 with 30 homeruns, it would take a really bad slump for him not to get 25 more before seasons end.
Nice pitch to get to trade for him doucheball.
