64/60 Sports Presents Spreadology NFL Playoffs

Well the Bowl Season didn't go as well as last year but after a disasterous start I managed to be somewhat respectable going 16-18 overall. This brings my yearly total to just below .500 with a 48-49 record overall. It's now time for the NFL playoffs and the way I look at it a 11-0 send off would classify this season a success.

Jets vs. Bengals -2. Bengals come alive this week and stop the JETS running game and force Sanchez to beat them. Not happening Bengals 24-6.

Eagles vs. Cowboys -4. Cowboys have slapped around the Eagles in both matchups this season killing them with the running game and forcing constant pressure on McNabb. But it's playoff time and over the last decade that means a Cowboys loss and a Eagles win. Eagles 27-24

Ravens vs. Patriots -4. Wes Welker is Brady's go to guy and it is a HUGE Loss. Ravens run the ball well and should execute enough on defense to keep the game close at the very least so I love the value of this pick. Ravens 30-27

Packers vs. Cardinals -3. The Cardinals can be really good and really bad but the downer is they cannot play in between. The Packers are on a role and are many peoples darkhorse Super Bowl represenative for the NFC. That said I like to go against logic upon occasion so I'll take the Cardinals in the blowout of the week 33-17.

16-18 is not that respectable...it would get you fired...

Agreed; not even somewhat respectable.

Compared to say 10-24 16-a8 is somewhat respectable

That reasoning blows.

My counter: compared to 17-17, it is not respectable.

Just because it is better than something else doesn't make it respectable.

It's a losing season.
