That comes along with DUKE in any way, The last name of Vitale, Digger Phelps, John Feinstein, Billy Packer...well, you get the point...Bob Ryan....I digress...The Empire has it's detractors...Others LOVE to HATE US. For the most part, WE would have it no other way. Now, as time goes on, some mellow with age...Knight did, but it wasn't because he started to not hate the CATS anymore, it was because he LIKED Tubby. I like Tubby, too, but FUCK YOU BOBBY KNIGHT. That carries over to you Tom Crean...You are in the red now...so we hate you...

What do we know of the current Hoosiers? Well, they have Doc Rivers' other boy, Jeremiah and Verdell Jones and Maurice Creek are two athletic ballers who comprise the Indiana back-court...And thus far, they have lost 4 games, one to the vaunted powerhouse that is Boston University, no not Boston College, BU...the mighty mighty Terriers...swear to God. In all seriousness, Tom Crean is a good coach and he is ahead of schedule in getting Indiana back to being INDIANA...but John Wall has already got Kentucky back to being KENTUCKY in the span of a month....Unfortunately for us, though, it is not mid-January yet, so Indiana will do what Miami and Sam Houston were able to do, and that is play above their means and hang with the WALL BANGERS...but THE GREAT WALL will keep the legend growing and we pick up another W... I expect another stellar performance out of all Galaxy PG Wall, and as always the dependable and rock solid base of Patrick Patterson will contribute the way he has done since day one in Lexington... RAMON HARRIS will get minutes...deal with that...At' big Carl and Bledsoe need some more maturing time...neither of the two are playing at a level of Basketball Smartness that makes me feel completely comfortable with them hogging minutes, which Cal obviously agrees with..Daniel Orton is slowly morphing into a power house...And, let's get Darnell to shot out of his lil' slump he experienced in the 2nd half at the Garden and all will be good... And just so you know, I like Darius Miller, alot, he is a homer, but our success IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM hinges on him as being a cog in the BIG BLUE MACHINE this season...We need him to settle down into a role of a lights out shooter, not a PLAY MAKER. Look for DeAndre Liggins to actually get PT saturday...I hope this PHENOMONAL talent has grown up during his time in full warm-up gear and starts to play like the tough Chicago Kid he is..too me, Getting him to realize even half of his potential this season is one of the keys for the further growth of our program in the Post-Lil' Blue Jesus days...
