...Because it's Friday and you aint got a job and don't have shit to do....

You have a lackluster career record in a MAC school and get a job at a bigger school in a lackluster Big East conference. You get kids to by into your program, your method-ology. You string off 3 straight conference championships and manage to get people to buy into a product that is over-hyped and over-rated, and manage to get into BCS talks. Your obvioulsy a good salesman. You sold Cincinnati's football program to the BCS and America. Now, you sold out those kids.

I have been hearing all about Brian Kelly all season, and I admit, I was staunch detractor of him and his UC Bearcats. I was not buying the hype. I picked cinderella to have it's glass slipper broken so far up their ass many times this season, and, well, They kept winning. They beat WVU and Pitt. That is when I thought to myself, 'self, Cincy might have it'. Senior Tony Pike had a great season. He re-injured his arm, but came back and picked up where he left off. His back-up quarterback filled in nicely while Pike was gone, and when Pike came back, he was an afterthought to the offense. And now, on the eve of Cincinnati's biggest bowl game in the history of the school, the man who championed the program for so long, has abandoned them.

Kelly gave, which at the time, were two different statements, about how the Notre Dame job was a distraction to him and his team and was not even worth discussing. I noticed he pulled a Rick Pitino in providing the answers to the press' questioning. He was looking for anything to say to get the question to go away. The second, is when the BCS games were decided, he said that the two best teams were in the national title game. It was almost like he did not even care that his team, which he sold all season long, had just been shafted. It all makes sense now. He didn't care anymore. He got what he wanted out of Cincinnati. Cincinnati, unfortunately, will not get what they deserve out of him. Congratulations Irish, You hired a man who can turn his back on you in a heart-beat and leave everyone out to dry. Stir the echoes? Kelly's tenure in South Bend will pick up on the work that Bob Davie started and Charlie Weis did not detract from. He will continue those efforts, and Notre Dame will continue it's downward spiral into oblivion. Brian Kelly has sold himself into a job that he has no business even being an applicant for. Jimmy Claussen and Golden Tate are the only two Irish that benefit from this. They are leaving a year early. The Brian 'KELLY GREEN" era has begun...

Marshall University has apparently got alot of interest in this year's MAC Champion Central Michigan's coach Butch Jones. Jones, like the aforementioned Kelly, has one 3 straight conference titles, including a win over perinial Herd rival Ohio University in this year's championship game. Jones is a former assistant at WVU. This could be a homecoming that yeilds great results for the Herd. Two other interviews have taken place, although those names are not known at this time, and the meetings took place out of Huntington. I still think Marshall needs to go after Bobby Bowden, and have him bring one of his sons along with him...

Former Florida defensive coordinator Charlie Strong has been named the new head coach at Louisville. The fact that he was on the staff in Gainesville and is now the head man at Louisville makes him one of the most hated men outside the Jefferson County Metro Statistical Data Area. Charlie is trading in his jorts for bird feathers. I am not a Louisville fan by no stretch of the imagination, but they are in-state, so I find myself pulling for them at times. I think that this was a GREAT hire for the Dirty Birds, and he will get the Ville' back on top in the Big East. However....I live by this motto....BETTER DEAD THAN RED.

The Cleveland Sienna's (Don't call them Browns, but you can call em' a shade of Brown, the original Browns are now Birds) beat the Pittsburgh Steelers(whose logo is a modified version of the US Steel logo, a company based in Cleveland, whom was the traditional rival of the Steelers) Thursday night. Wow, Pittsburgh did all that talk about one for the thumb and another for the whole hand in regards to the bling they sport. Well, the franchise needs to take their decorated hands out of their ass. My how the mighty have fallen.

And Lane Kiffin...dumbass, loud mouth, over-bearing bastard. That being said, I would love to be a UT Vol recruit. Co-ed Call girls....That is genius... I say no foul done here. He gave the players Vagina, not Money...in the long run though, Vagina will ruin a man quicker than money and greed ever could...case in point..Me and my ex-gf saga/scenario...'sigh'....

And...The Heisman race...give it to the kid from Stanford...Do it...it will feel good.

And of course….I think it was Chris Lee who told me that ,while BAMA was very good, they would not be able to beat Tebow on the SEC’s biggest stage..something about Tebow be bigtime and that game being the biggest…that’s what great players do..win the big ones…Well…I will just let the videos speak for them themselves….Roll Tide…Big Red Elephants are coming for the Chyrstal Ball…I have been trying to tell everyone that BAMA is the best in the Land…unfortunately, they are not playing the real #2….

CATS/Hooisers preview later today A.K.A “More proof that I would totally go gay for John Wall”
