In-N-Out The 64/60 Week 8

Another week of the season has passed and like the proceeding 7 weeks much of the events were the same. The BC Fightin Amish held on to the death grip of first place with a weekly high point total of 89 and thumped the BOUNTY HUNTERS by 22. To make the loss even worse for the Hunters, Frank Gore has his best day since week 1 scoring 15 points while Brandon Jacobs who he traded Gore for scored only 6. I still am unclear on how that trade was processed without league approval. The events are currently under review by Yahoo but no official word yet on what happened.

The FV Slobber Knockers took over the second spot in the standings by handing the Hendo Colonels a beatdown. This was payback for taking Peterson number 1 overall. Don't worry Hobson you aren't the only one to have your ass handed to you by the Fantasy God of 5th grade. Nathaniel have you told any of the lady folk about your achievements thus far? If you haven't you should before you know it the pickup game at recess will turn into a makeout session under the jungle gym.

In a battle of ownership of December 28th, James Hardy came out victorious. From now on December 28th should always be refereed to as James Hardy's birthday. I myself will celebrate James Hardy Day when blowing out my candles. My cake will read Happy Birthday James Hardy. This matchup was a very important swing game as me a James are battling for a playoff spot. James not only wins the 28th but he gains a spot in the standings.

In another swing game bernie leroy has emerged as a contender winning his third straight contest. With the win leroy gets to the .500 mark while Hell and Damnation falls to 3-5. H&D who surprised people with their participation in Baseball haven't shown the same passion for the football. No over looking the scoreboard during Sunday's contest and no roster shuffling other than putting in a entire lineup. I am happy to report that someone other than myself is wanting to fast forward to March to rev up another Fantasy Baseball season.

Naturally we will review the 9irons and B'Ville Stars last. With matching 1-7 records it is going to be a battle for the honors of last place. The Stars have been the hard luck loser this season but this week didn't follow that pattern. The Stars managed only 49 points and were hammered by the URINATORS by 26. The 9irons however took the role of hard luck loser this week losing 73-72 to the Beaker Breakers. The 9irons had "Matty Ice" and a win in the bag before the half but second half turnovers lead to a 3 point output at the QB position and a BIG L.

GAME RECAP

Beaker Breakers 73 vs. Arguementative 9irons 72. Both teams had 3 players in double digits and both squads had players who underperformed but with 3 points from the QB spot and Slaton scoring 0 the 9irons have plenty of reasons to ask "Why me?".

MVP- McNabb 15pts.

Bo's Bad Asses 79 vs. Bear Creek FP Factory 71. Combine a down week from Peyton and a huge game from Rodgers and the victory by the Asses is what you get. The day is yours James the day is yours.

MVP- Rodgers 19pts.

B.C. Fightin Amish 89 vs. Bounty Hunters 67. The Amish are looking like the team to beat within the 64/60. His WR corp is the best in the league and Jones-Drew can go off at any time. The Bears effected more games than the Bopp imagined as I had a claim on the Bears which would have changed the outcome of my matchup.

MVP- Maurice Jones- Drew 21pts.

bernie leroy 64 vs. Hell and Damnation 59. This matchup could easily be considered a playoff matchup the loser is at 3-5 while the winner is right in the thick of the playoff hunt.

MVP- Steven Jackson 16pts.

THE URINATORS 75 vs. B'Ville Stars 49. The Urinators may be 3-5 but two things are for sure. He is drinking a beer somewhere and he is determined to piss on the season of anyone who is having a good time. Mike sometime it just happens this way. Look on the bright side another episode of Just Joshin Around is tomorrow.

MVP- Chris Johnson 25pts.

FV Slobber Knockers 79 vs. Hendo Colonels 39. Perhaps the most surprising outcome of the season as the Colonels have been a force as have the Knockers but a 40 point whooping is shocking.

MVP- Reggie Wayne 18pts.

Pick Up of The Week

Who else but Mr. Lee and the Bears D. The sad part about it for us who missed out on the Bears, the Amish had the Ravens D on the bench who managed to score 12 pts.
