ACL tears be crazy, Derek Anderson's got your back, jack.

The feel good moments in response to the fall of Nerlens have been numerous and on a constant stream into social media news feeds everywhere.

First off, it was that scene that Kentucky fans will not soon forget, the first time we have banded together this season, and as a team, a brotherhood, we carried our fallen leader from the floor.

Then, it was carried on with an out pouring of tweets saying things like 'in my thoughts' and 'in my prayers'. Heck even the SEC's F-18 Bro himself, Marshall Henderson gave big Nerl a shout...and in turn created a great hashtag trend, #SECUNITED.

Then, Noel himself took to the twitter-waves and literally melted hearts, when he said this was just a minor setback, bigger things will happen for him in the future. ACL tear? Who cares? Imma make it any damn way.

It even took Cal's breath away. He made note of it during his social media rounds today.

Now, another famously torn ACL in Kentucky lore has come to the aid of the Fallen Timber.

Derek Anderson went big brothers/big sisters and is now offering a key ingredient to the rehabilitation process: Having been there, Having healed, and having gone on to a successful pro career.

Nerlens will be fine. This, as gruesome as a injury as it was, have happened thousands of times before. It's quite common place these days, and even routine. True, he may no longer be the favorite to go #1 in the Draft, but going 2 thru 5 in June isn't that bad of a consolation prize.

Nerlens will be fine. He will not play at Kentucky ever again, but he will play again, and be paid handsomely for it, too.

This is the first program and season altering injury Kentucky has had to deal with during Calipari's tenure.
