Yeah, we like wrestling, what of it? And did anybody else know about this?

This is the new championship belt for an upstart promotion ran by Shane Douglas called 'Extreme Rising'. The group is trying to recapture some of the feel of the original ECW, which means a lot of guys who shouldn't be in a ring anymore hitting each other with chairs and cheese graters, etc. Not saying that is what ECW was, but for some reason, that is always what it's nostalgia translates to.

Anyways, this belt... Well, we made better belts out of cardboard and aluminum foil in Mrs. Stewart's 2nd grade class back in 1988. Heck, the ones we made out of grocery bags and crayons were even better looking than this.

And lastly, has anybody else ever brought up the fact that Apollo High School in Owensboro, KY, has pretty much just lifted and used the logo of a beer company?
