Thanks to a late addition by the Cincinnati Bengals, John Connor, formerly of the New York Jets, will join 7 other Kentucky Wildcats participating in the NFL Playoffs.
Just This weekend, Conner will join Winston Guy, Tim Masthay, and the mythical Randall Cobb as participating in the Playoffs. Four more Cats will join these ranks during next weekend's games.
Conner is a power runner, most notably a great blocker out of the backfield. He caused HBO to pitch a tent when, as a Jet, he was featured as part of their Hard Knocks series.
Who knows? Maybe John Connor really will save the world, and by save the world, we totally mean help the Bengals shuffle on down to the Super Bowl.
