Every man has a price: Louisville makes Strong a $4 million man

Move over Dibiase, Virgil's got the money clip now.

Lousiville has decided to put Charlie Strong in the upper tax bracket among college football coaches, and at the same time tries to convince America its a top level BCS program.

Strong will receive a guaranteed 3.7 million for 8 years of service in the pizza pan, making him the 7th highest paid coach in the nation. And should Louisville keep winning and suitors for Chuck come calling like they did after this season's Sugar Bowl win over #3 Florida, they'll have to pay the price. A $5 million buyout price, to be exact.

In a contract that is littered with incentives and bonus pay for such things as BCS games, titles, and awards, and finding the princess in another castle, Strong gets a no-questions-asked bonus after completing his 3rd season, which will increase his normal salary to $4.45 million.

Next press conference they have, 5 bucks says he is introduced as " making his winter home in Boca Raton, Charlie Strong."

I sure hope Stoops does indeed have some troops in Lexington.
However, we've got Sting's boy, that's gotta' be at least worth the TV title, right?
