Coach Cal says Get Mad, Go Nuts, Go Crazy and Go Cats

Coach has had enough. He has stomached it as long as he could. He's mad about it... and he wants his team to get that way, too.

In his recent pre-Ole Miss presser he told the media and in particular for our purposes Courier-Journal's Kyle Tucker(and the BP environmental disaster that is his hair-do) what he wanted to see in the upcoming game against surprisingly good Ole Miss, ranked 23rd in the nation behind out-of-nowhere shooting ace Marshall Henderson: He wants his Cats to lose their composure. He wants them to dig in and stand their ground, don't let other teams push them around. Talk smack back to teams. Punch, fight, cuss, holler, carry-on... you name it, he wants the Cats to do it.

Cal's exact quote:
“Oh, I’d like us to lose our composure. That’s what I’m looking for. Like, lose your composure. Get mad. Get angry. Be mad to be great. (Pretends to be moping, then getting bumped by someone) ‘Oh, sorry.’ What? Be mad. And if he talks to you, talk back to him. I mean, just be mad. Compete, fight, battle, toughness, swagger. It’s hard to have a swagger when you’re ducking and you’re running. You gotta dig your heels in. That’s why I’m saying all this stuff is good for our team. If we’re going to get it, it’s competing in games like this and learning and growing.”

He doesn't want them to 'duck' and 'run' anymore. He wants them to swagger into gyms like the name on the chest says Kentucky, because it does.

No more running. No more hiding. It's time to be Kentucky.

And, if anybody else tries to take them down, go crazy.

Sorry about this, apparently Prince really keeps tabs on YouTube:
