Boyd County ended months of speculation, and rumor milling, today when they announced just who would be the man leading the Lions onto the field next season:BCHS has hired Ray Brooks to be that man.
Brooks, who has no previous head coaching experience, comes to the Lions from Huntington High School, where he was a defensive coordinator this past fall. He also served in the same capacity at a high school in Virginia, that won a state title while there.
The newly hired coach is currently employed already by the school system. He teaches in Summit at BCMS.
