awful first rd. ideas
1) the first overall pick panic.
-while this years 'number one overall' isnt as concrete as in recent years i think it can only be 2 players, and neither of them are adrian peterson. the top tier is chris johnson (cj) or maurice jones-drew (mjd), both of these guys are capable of 2000 total yards and 15 - 18 tds, pretty retarded. if it were me, and i hope it is, im taking cj, but if im 'stuck' with mjd im not crying. while im sure it wont happen in our more educated league, ive seen a higher then usual amount of QBs taken first. this is more retarded. this moves me to my next bad idea.
2) 'With the 9th overall pick, the {stupid name} select...'
-when the top RBs and the Andre Johnsons of the world (there is only one) are gone, some thought goes into your pick. should i go with the best QBs (brees, manning) or another top WR? this is a very simple problem for your boy, i take the WR every day of the week. after AJ there are still some all world WR for the taking. Reggie Wayne, Randy Moss, Larry, and Megatron are better options i think.
awesome ideas for the 1st rd.
1) get MJD if he falls past 2.
-ive seen him anywhere from 1 to 6. i like him anywhere i can get him.
2) get reggie wayne
-ive seen him fall out of the first rd. this should not happen.
other observations.
the lebron/wade/bosh monster is awesome. anyone who disagrees needs awesome lessons
the reds need to be buyers- add a bat walt. they need it. i have a feeling scott rolen isnt going to hit 40 hrs this year. anyone who does is kidding themselves.
the astros suck
evans beats rua for the ufc light heavy. rd 4. 1:19
look out for the texas rangers for a world series shocker
ubaldo for cy young, ditto cliff lee
soccer sucks more then the astros
rex ryan is right, the jets are the team to beat. that sounds weird.
