Rock and Roll will, apparently, NEVER really die after all

Veteran's Memorial is going out with a bang. First, the last St. Joe's Invitational in the building was nothing short of exciting.

But, this has to be the main event. No pun intended. After all, it is Huntington, and rasslin' is real.

Local wrestling company, 304 Wrestling, decided to leave their home arena in style.

And, they rocked it. Rock and Roll Expressed it, more precisely.

In what has to be the biggest local indy wrestling happening in years, if not ever, Ricky Morton was crowned the 304 Heavyweight champion on the last wrestling show at VMFH, 'Last Stand'.

Of course, if this happened in the years of 1987 to about 1994, it would be astronomically huge. In 2012, it's not so massive on the grand scale of things...but dear lord, it's Ricky Morton!

With that T-shirt, that belt with the 'house' numbers on it and West Virginia shaped like a middle-finger( and bejewled all to hell), and the fact that he still has the mullet and some bitchin' bangs, I really can't think of anyone better to represent the Tri-State as champ.

Morton beat former WWE Developmental guy (and male gigolo embroiled in some Cincinnati controversy involving prostitution and murder apparently) Sean Casey, who had held the belt for quite some time.

304 has not announced where they will be moving shows to now that the Field House is to be torn down.

Was it Starrcade or something?
I think it is safe to say, though, nobody thought Morton would walk out with the belt.

Say what you want about Morton being 100 yeas old or his legal/financial troubles. Dude kick's ass.
