First a new Wal-Mart, now this... call the National Guard

It's been a growing trend, one that appears to have no end.
Everything from alternate uniforms to fan apparel, have been struck with it. The Sickness. The black death.
In this era of teams going black for the sake of black(kind of reminiscent of the 90's craze were everybody was going teal), the kids get excited. Campus organizers call for celebrations. They have a game on the schedule selected as their 'Black Out'. Now, some schools go the extra mile and don black special edition unis for such things.(Kentucky's football program for example this season...and there are a crap ton of others in the past 10 years or so)
And, little Morehead State is no different. Dang it, they like to have fun like everybody else. However, I don't know if this says more about Morehead State or myself, but I had no idea they did such an event. Apparently, according to their athletics website, this is an annual event.

This year's 'Black Out' will be Saturday as the Eagles host Tennessee Tech at Ellis T. Johnson Arena. Kids, get there early, if you are among the first 500, you get a free t-shirt for the game thanks to B-Dubs.

Morehead is 6-3 at Ellis T. Johnson on the season, and are 4-4 in OVC league play.

Tennessee Tech is in Richmond this evening, playing EKU.
The Golden Eagles are 3-5 on the road, and boast a 4-3 OVC record.

The game tips off at 3:00 Saturday, and you can watch it Live on ESPN U.
