This Saturday, if you like high school basketball, you can go to Chesapeake and give em' 7 bucks, and watch it all day. The third installment of the 'Beasts of the Southeast' takes place Saturday, starting at noon. Now, this event has lacked the initial luster it had during it's first attempt. That edition (2010) featured a nationally-relevant match-up between Huntington Prep and Quality Education Academy from Winston-Salem, NC. Since that time, it hasn't really attracted the D1 Prospects that make internet-recruiting junkies salivate, but it's still held for a great cause: To try to get as many of the players in the event to college, basketball in hand or not.
