6460 Game of the Week..if the week ended today.

Marshall thunders into New York

The surprisingly good Sons of Marshall, (seriously America, don't sleep on the Herd this season) take on one of the season's early candidates for the Final Four, The Orange of Syracuse. Tonight in the Carrier Dome, the The Big Green are going to try to squeeze the Big Orange.
In my opinion, Marshall is currently about the 31st best team in America, and are more than capable of pulling this upset off. However, when you got a guy on your team whose name is Fab, and you just let loose some dead pedophile weight, you have a lot of positives going for your program.

Tonight's encounter starts at 7, and it will BE broadcast LIVE on WSAZ. Spare no expense Huntington, not even a MY Z delay...LIVE... Big Time. Not since the days of Skip Henderson have we seen such excitement.
So, get your Herd-on, grab a bag of Mister B's, and thunder clap your ass off in your living room.

Marshall, un-ranked, comes into the game at 5-1, included in which is a win over Cincinnati on the road, who was ranked in the Top 20 at the time. Marshall is 0-16 all-time against teams in the Top 5, and Syracuse comes into the game ranked #3.However, Marshall's favor, they have beat their last 2 Big East opponents: Cincinnati this season, and WVU in January of last season. Historically, this is only the second meeting between the two schools. Marshall won the only other encounter in 1947, part of the Los Angeles Invitational, 46-44.
