They threw rocks at Jesus, too...

Jimmy Wall, Lil' Blue Jesus, you may know him as John Wall, though. The man who brought the nation to it's knees on the hardwood and had more people doin' a dance than American Bandstand, went home.
With the lack of opportunity for these poor guys to make a living, thanks to the NBA Lockout and bin Laden, A lot of these types have taken up other lines of work. Camps, over-seas games, legends games, pick-up games at Ruck, and the time honored tradition of Pro-Am leagues. Some are even going back for degrees.(would have been easier to have just stayed in school in hindsight, eh fellas?)
Wall is no different. He recently returned home to the state of North Carolina, and his hometown of Raleigh.(Picture Ric Flair saying Raleigh, North Carolina on the old Worldwide Wrestling show, in your head. Now, go change your pants. Yes, it's that good)
The reason Lil' Blue Jesus returned to his manger is for the North Carolina Pro-Am. Same one he destroyed ol' whats his name in a few years back.(Jerry, Jerry Stackhouse.)
We really know that he was just using this to get his legs back in preparation for the big series against the All-World Dominican National Team, led by the Greatest Big Man Ever, Eloy Vargas. That, and he probably wanted to visit Mayberry. After all, it is the major stopping point between Mt. Pilot and Raleigh.
I digress...
Wall returned home, and then made the short trip to Durham. Yes that Durham. Home of the ...Bulls. And like another certain someone, was rejected by his own. Yep, John Wall received a chorus of boos and various forms of heckles from the homers. Remember when Rocky walked out for his fight against Ivan Drago in Moscow(ON CHRISTMAS!!!)? Yeah, just like that.
So with everyone against him, and pushing for a hometown favorite, not a Duke alum however, you honestly think any of those guys are from Durham? Have you seen Durham? Shitsville.
No, the favorite was Dominique Sutton, who couldn't hack it at Kansas State and finished up at NC Central. Yeah, big timer. What is even sadder than the treatment that was given to Wall, was the fact that those people actually thought there was a chance for Sutton to outshine Wall.
There is no reason to build this up any longer. Victory Wall. He dropped 36 on Sutton....
Too be fair though, Wall was kinda sloppy at times, and Sutton did have a good showing... But still, you know that you are going to get Wall'd so just don't egg it on Dom....
Durham is the home to it's favorite college basketball team, North Carolina Central Eagles. There is another team there, but they haven't done anything worth much notice. I take that back, there was that Rape thing with that hooker.

It's a good thing John has some basketball stuff to do now. He wasn't going to cut it throwing out first pitches at ball games.
