Stamford to Bristol is not that bad of a drive...

For whatever reasons, ESPN has signed the WWE's Todd Grisham to come and work on camera for the Worldwide Leader. Grisham is a former host and interviewer for various WWE programs. However, his biggest claim to fame may be that he was the one who Bryan Danielson choked with his own neck-tie during the re-hashing of the nWo take-over angle with the Nexus group. In the PG Era currently going on in WWE(wanting to sell some toys and get Linda in an office) that resulted in Danielson being fired. He would be re-hired after an outcry of fan support.
Grish is the second broadcast journalist to get the call from Bristol to leave the WWE. Jonathon Coachman, who even had matches while he was with the Ent, blazed that trail when he joined ESPN in 2008.
I would have been intrigued by all of this if it was an announcement that Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan were going to host Monday Night Football... Unfortunately, Gorilla is dead.

espn is a joke. sage steele, jonathon coachman, josh elliot, steve berthume, eric mangini, matt millen, the host of around the horn, bill plaskie, meryl hodge, doug gottlieb, colin cowherd, jesse palmer, hannah storm, jim rome, and skip bayless should not have a job at the wsaz sports desk, must less the "worldwide leader."
