Bear Creek, Kentucky-

Dr. David Bayes has reported that Chris Lee has been placed on the 15 day DL. Follow up is expected early next week, which at that time could result in a placement on the 30 day listing. Following the injury, Lee may be sent for a rehab assignment in Cannonsburg(AAA) or Burnaugh(AA). The listing on the DL is retroactive to Saturday, July 24th.

What to take from this?- Not too much. It has been a theme in the 64/60 Wiffle events that whenever, and it is like clock-work, Lee bows out of the events, his teams improve. Last year, after going 1- 12, he pulled up lame and was replaced with his girlfriend, who improved the line-up by picking up some offensive help in the line-up that was missing while Lee occupied the roster. This year, Lee was 2 -15 until the injury forced him out and led to Burt Coleman re-inventing himself as a ball player and experience a renaissance on the afternoon for his career. 2 years and 3 hits... The front office won't mind him mending for a while.
