WEEK 19 The Militia will reign victorious! We have been ridiculed, probed and prodded all season long but we are still in the hunt (literally). The disrespect that has been ever so present on this blog directed towards The Militia has been closely documented and has often served as little more than bulletin board material. However now it has become personal.
Here at The militia headquarters on the outskirts of town nestled into a beautiful country hillside my men are outside doing training exercises as we speak. Its been this way all season long, they have been oblivious to what is going on in the outside world because to them training for raids, hand to hand combat, urban combat and many, many more things are more important to them than reading or hearing on the local 64/60 weekly radio broadcast about how they are cheaters, losers and nut cases. Those who frown upon The militia will be dealt with accordingly (on the fields of battle) and nothing is going to get in our way from reaching the ultimate glory which is the 64/60 fantasy baseball title.
The Militia prides itself on loyalty, honesty and kicking total ass. We have came a long way this season through sheer hard work, blood, sweat and tears.....we have left it all on the battlefield. We have done lots of good things for lots of good people and the community as a whole....from having Thanksgiving and Christmas handouts in downtown here for the needy, to helping some of the folks who are less fortunate by giving a helping hand with some of their basic family needs during these trying financial times. Look I could go on and on about all of this but something tells me it will not matter. The fact of the matter is...The Militia does not deserve any of these proposturous allegations and the assault of team charecter that has been levied against us.
In closing I will leave you with this: Keep throwing all your little barbs and "back room" fodder about The Militia being on the other side of honest because it will be taken out on you in between the lines. I have said this on many, many, many, many occasions, The Militia thrives when under scrutiny or when it is (unfairly and ridiculously) lied about and thrown into the middle of League controversies. Make no mistake about it The Militia has been backed into a corner here and we will without a doubt fight our way out like we have done time and time again!

Wow.
I think it is safe to say, that as long as Butch Lemaster is drawing a breath, Army Navy Stores everywhere are in no real threat of going out of business.
I couldn't tell if I was reading a post on a sports blog that is heavy on fantasy, or if I was reading a communist manifesto sent to the UN as a precursor to a formal declaration of war.
In any event, there is some, albeit misguided, passion here. But, you also have to take into consideration that more often than not, folks get incarcerated for such fervent passion.
