Another problem with the Pahr Rankins is that they take a picture of the entire season and do not account for streaks. For example, if I pick up a few players mid-season, squeak into the playoffs, then get hot and win the whole thing, the Pahr Rankins would have me undervalued.
They have some value but I think you put too much emphasis on them.
