And, in typical NCAA fashion, they have failed 24 hours after the fact to produce any announcement. Fuck You NCAA. All we want is some closure. Is that too much to ask?(See Corey Maggette)
My gut feeling is that we are going to be disappointed with the judgement. Even more so, we are going to be outraged with the NCAA's decision on the matter after in the span of 2 months we have witnessed some severe mis-justices handed down from the men behind the curtain, the great and Powerful NCAA.(OSU football, Cam Newton, Josh Selby)
This has been a gut-wrenching and heavily invested in, emotional event in the lives of all of us out here bleeding the blue. Is it too much to ask of the NCAA to just give us an answer. We know it is going to be no. Despite all of our protesting and witty Free Enes banners and photoshops, we have always known, that deep down, our movement was going to end in failure when we decided to champion the Turk's cause and take on the NCAA.(yet again)
However, we did fight the good fight. We have brought to light the crooked and down-right moronic double standards that the NCAA practices. We have shown the rest of the nation that We are right. They really do hate Kentucky. It's not just us being paranoid.
However, what is really freeing about all this, is that despite all this that has gone on, Kentucky is still being Kentucky. Enes Kanter has entered the realm of folklore in the BBN through all of this. Josh Harrellson, has entered the realm of Folk Hero.
Keep in mind, without Enes being held captive, Josh Harrellson would never have been able to free himself.
So, too all those who have stood alongside Enes in his fight I salute you, I was there with you. To all of those who stood beside Harrellson when he was getting treated like Saul Smith, and there were not many of you, I say the reward is sweet.
In a round about way, by the NCAA keeping Enes in their cage, they forced Josh out of his.
Harrellson has some big shoulders, he has proven that during his tenure in Lexington. I say we climb on them and piggy back into March.
Jorts.... Thank You.
