In-N-Out The 64/60 Playoff Edition

Good Morning, Good Afternoon or Good Evening whichever is applicable to you. Well maybe not, last week I decided to do a video version of the In-N-Out full of weekly wrap ups and a look ahead to future action. I put my own spin on things and felt that I made the production at least mildly entertaining. I expected plenty of warm responses in the Comment section but all I got was Bopp being critical of my aging looks, not exactly what I had in mind. So the written version is once again here on the 64/60 pages to enjoy over your morning coffee, Midday snack, or candlelight dinner whichever is applicable to you.

The 12th Round Kicker 145 vs. BC Fightin Amish 144. Without a doubt the game of the year if not the best game in the history of 64/60 Football. Both teams had weeks that easily result in a win but going head-to-head someone had to lose. I suppose The Lick can find solace in not losing once again via a tiebreaker. The Kickers followed the same script that earned them a first Round Bye and the No. 2 Spot in the Playoffs, live off the big game and have two or three supporting players. Witten 30, Manningham 30, and who would have thought Santana Moss 27. For a supporting cast the Kickers got 16 out of Mendenhall who may have benefited from a bad spot which took Mendenhall to the 100 yard mark giving him 16 instead of 15 while Peyton provided 15. Christopher before you cry the injustice you would have lost the tiebreaker anyway so keep snotting in the Kleenex. The huge production was enough to make up for the 1pt from the Clevland D, 4 from Crabtree, and 3 from Jacobs. In a losing effort the Amish had about as good of a week as a team could have. You start 10 and the Amish had 9 in double digits and the lone player under 10 was Scobee the Kicker who added a decent 6. What the Amish didn't have however was the huge day. Eli lead the way with 24 while Chris Johnson and Ryan Torain (imagine that pick up) both added 20. The Amish will no doubt look back at this and blame everyone but himself and as much as it pains me to say it, on this one occasion he may be right. In the end the difference between a 12th Round Kicker Win and a Fightin Amish Win was the old Wrangler wearing Gunslinger who decided Monday Morning to saddle up one more time. Hobson my old No. 4 Jersey is in the mail and heading your way.

Bounty Hunters 143 vs. steelerdomination 103. The Bounty Hunters no doubt had my video playing constantly in the film room last week. I doubted the Hunters heading into the week and even though I knew steelerdomination would have a couple of 1 or 2 pointers I still thought they had enough big game potential to win. I had at least part of the script correct, 1 from McCluster, 1 from Vernon Davis, and 2 from the Steelers however the big game wasn't to be found. Maclin played well producing 23 but he was the lone 20 point performer. On the flipside the Hunters produced counter punch after counter punch before knocking Domination out cold. The huge days from Vick 38 and Mike Williams was about all the Hunters needed. The solid outings by Johnson 18, Blount 17, Watson 16 and Bryant 10 provided the cushion. Anyone who started McCluster for 15 Weeks doesn't deserve the honor of announcing themselves 64/60 Champions so as a Owner I am glad to see a quality owner like Mr. Fenney being awarded a chance at immortality.

Bounty Hunters vs. 12th Round Kickers

The 64/60 will have a new member in it's Hall Of Champions but who will it be. In my opinion from Player 1- Player 15 the Kickers have the better talent. If you go by the best 15 from each team I still like the Kickers however in Week 16 it would appear that the Hunters have the more favorable schedule. I will assume both owners will select another Defense this week as the Giants will likely face a Packers team with Rodgers back while the Browns face the Ravens. So as we wait to see how these owners manage that situation most of the lineup is easy to figure out. The Kickers will go with Manning vs. Oak, Jennings vs. Giants, Manningham vs. GB, Santana Moss vs. Jax, Mendenhall vs. Car, Hillis vs. Balt., Witten vs. Ariz the Flex is likely a choice of Crabtree vs. StL., or Jacobs vs. GB. From that group I see big game potential from Manning, Mendenhall and Witten while it is likely that one of the three WR can reach 20. I don't see a huge day from Hillis or the Flex position and even if one of the WR's has a big day I have trouble imagining the Position will give you better than 30 some points. The Hunters are filled with favorable matchups: Vick vs. Minn, S. Johnson vs. NE, Wayne vs. Oak, M. Williams vs. Sea., F. Jackson vs. NE, Blount vs. Sea, Green-Ellis vs. Buff, Ben Watson is the current TE for the Hunters but with Keller, Hernandez and Heap available it's likely a move will be made. Vick looks like a solid 20+, while the WR position could reach 40+, the RB position is typically very weak but both Jackson and Blount have favorable matchups and Ronnie Brown vs. Det is always a option. Regardless of the outcome as a Champion myself I will welcome either owner to the table of Champions because both of them are worthy in my opinion.

I suppose the tie only makes a bad loss even worse. What I find very odd is that Mendenhall's name doesn't appear under the weekly corrections list. Don't know exactly what that is all about.
