So, Harrison Barnes. Whoopty Shit... Team USA, #1 Recruit, Blah Blah...What really chaffed my ass was that Pat Forde types hyped this kid up to be the UNC savior. They said he was better than John Wall, they said that he was basically the best freshman ever and made him a pre-season All American... And from what I seen, those people could not be more wrong. I fully expect him to have a good season. A season which will be talked about constantly by ESPN and it's employees at every oppurtunity... But, let's be honest, dude gets stage fright, and as of now, does not deserve to even be starting.
The last act of the savior? How about 0-18 from the field against Minnesota. How about an over-rated team which he is supposed to lead to great things this season being delt with by Tubby's Gophers? Minnesota will be a sweet 16 team, but the Heels better hope Barnes can start pulling that walking on water trick out of his ass real soon or they may have some serious issues. I know, it's only November...But, do you really want to compare numbers with you know who here? Hell, you had better not even compare him to Brandon Knight...
So , Mr. Barnes, you are no John Wall. I never want to hear that opinion again...
