Spreadology 2010

Back to Back 1-4 weekends make me want to vomit. I am sick to myself not because I have wiped out my 401K but because my people, the ones who eat and breath what I say to be the gospel have followeed. Now they to are eating Ramen Noodles six days a week and feasting on week old Bolagna on Sunday after noons. I am now a mere 21-19 on the season and the fast start has all but been forgotten. They say you often must hit bottom before you begin your accent. If this is the case then I must ask have I reached the lowest point or is there more to come? With this weekends games I have a good feeling that the winners are coming back my way. So once again I ask everyone to please follow your heart and let me be your guide. I am your winning lottery ticket don't be the fool who is too afraid to cash it.

Oklahoma vs. Texas AM +3. Young secondary of Oklahoma could have fits dealing with the passing attack of the Aggies is suppose. However I am banking on the Sooners feasting of many Jerrod Johnson Turnovers in route to another convincing win in this series. Over the last three contest the Sooners have a margin of victory over 30 a game. Likely won't repeat that trend this season but a comfortable cover is in the works.

Illinois vs. Michigan -3. Do you have any Robinson for the Heisman memorobelia? If so my picks are a better investment at this point. The Michigan offense still can move the football and score points however the defense can still not stop anyone. This game could easily be a 38-35 shootout that could go either way but I just feel that down the stretch the Illinois defense has one more stop in them than the Wolverines.

Arizona vs. Stanford -9.5. A battle between the two best defenses in the Pac 10 should be a rare West Coast mathcup filled with hard hits and big defensive plays. Nick Foles is expected to return this week after suffering a knee injury three weeks ago. Foles is a veteran leader and is another very good QB in the Pac 10 who often gets overlooked. Given the home field advantage and Luck behind center I give Stanford a slight edge in the matchup but look for Foles and the offense to keep it close in a Clock eating contest that you are not accustomed to in the Pac 10.

Cardinals vs. Vikings -9. At somepoint the Vikings season has to begin. Look for the playoff run to begin this week.

Colts vs. Eagles -3. No science or breakdown needed on this one. I get Peyton Manning and points. I'll take that every day of the week.

Recap: Oklahoma -3, Illinois +3, Arizona +9.5, Vikings -9, Colts +3
