For those of you who may have forgotten about the most prestigous award any fantasy owner could ever be awarded, I am hear to remind you of the Abbott Trophy. The Abbott Trophy was named after Jim Abbott. Not since Jim Abbott has someone accomplished so much with the use of only one handed. Were Jim may have used that hand to throw the ball and catch the ball us fantasy owners need only one hand to pickup the hot free agent make that season changing trade or plug in the optimal lineup. The Abbott Trophy is given yearly to the 64/60's best owner and given the quality of ownership in this league I have no doubt that the winner of this trophy could go toe to toe with anyone in the business.
The Abbott Trophy uses a point system to determine the winner. The point system is as follows. Points are awarded for your final regular season standings. In a 12 team league you are awarded 12 points for first thru 1 point for 12. Each week I comprise Power Rankings for baseball and football. Baseball uses Roto value for it's Power Ranking while total points for is the Power Ranking in football. The same point system for the standings is used. Five Points are awarded for a playoff appearence and 5 points are awarded for a Championship. Only owners who participate in both Football and Baseball are eligible.
The following standings are point totals from baseball as well as up to the moment football power rankings and standings with points for projected playoff teams added. No points are awarded at the time for the football champion.
