In-N-Out The 64/60 Week 5

I apologize 64/60ians and followers of the blog for the lack of material on these pages the last couple of weeks. Time is limited here at the 64/60 Headquarters here of late. I assure you a company meeting will be held in the very near future to address this issue and to develop a new work model that will improve operations. Enough of the behind the scenes drama of life as a fortune 5000 CEO you want the recap of the week seen from the Commissioners point of view so no more time shall be wasted.

12th Rd Kicker 94 vs. Argumentative 9irons 89. The man who loves the kicker beat the man who hates fantasy football. Wasn't a pretty game as neither team topped the century mark but it was the closest contest in the 64/60 this week. The 9irons had the games top performer with Romo's 22. However a injury to Jermichael Finley 0, no production from D. Jackson 4, Spiller 4 and a less than stellar 1 point from the D was enough to give the hateful old man a loss and closer to his ultimate goal of not making the playoffs. For the Kickers they get a win with Manning having a once a year stinker a 0 point output from Manningham and a hell of a stinker from the Rams D -5. Five players in double figures and a solid 9 points from the kicker earns the lefthanded Marlboro man a .500 record on the year.

Tree Fiddy 110 vs. Rock Chock Jayhawk Shock Rockers 106. Sorry my mathematical skills in a time limited scenario is a little weak. Obviously the 4 point differential in this contest is closer than the 5 point contest above. Therefore by rule the Fiddy and the Chic-tic-tock BOOM have the closest contest in the 64/60 this week...........(hand clap...........Moving on. The Gilbert/Whitley rival dates back a while. A long time ago in a little town not to far from here Todd Whitley began a small wrestling company called the RWA. The company had the drive had good leadership good characters but struggled finding their niche. In a make or break attempt at success, Vince McMahon Wrestlemania style, the RWA decided to create a monthly magazine. In a effort to either generate enough money to publish the mag or to blatantly shaft people the RWA officials required a upfront subscription payment of what I believe was $10. Each day for a month I would look forward to getting the mail in hopes that the RWA magazine would appear. Days turned into months, months into years and still to this day no mag. If I recall correctly Gilbert was also scammed in this scheme. I don't know if the rivalry was born from this or perhaps the exclusion of Gilbert in the development of the RWA is to blame. The bottom line is this Gilbert cares about winning so Karma brought him the demise of the RWA. No doubt Gilbert's vision would have brought a better product and certainly a magazine. Whitley cares about Fantasy Football so Karma rewarded him with the win and his second victory.

Jess's Shit balls and Hakeem Nicks 131 vs. BCFP 124. Moving on in the mathematical pecking order. Another rivalry game featuring the two beaked ones going head to head or in this case nose to nose. Ward is no doubt floating on cloud nine which he hinted to in a recent smacktalk email after beating the Factory this week and the Amish a few weeks back. The Jitsuers are in a convincing 1st place with a 4-1 record with a roster filled with preseason 12th team All Pro's and a K from Lexington, KY so don't consider me sold on the early season results. For the Factory it was a somber morning. We are used to winners and at 2-3 no matter how you evaluate it a winning record you will not find. We here at the Factory will make some minor roster changes this week, tweak the lineup enough to defeat the GRC3 as we always do and once again return to the playoff race. Mr. Ward I'll get my revenge when it matters.

BC Fightin Zach Attack's 146 vs. FV Slobber Knockers 124. Are you tired of getting busy signals on Saturday Morning when calling Big Sal's to place some last minute wagers? Tired of having to walk in the smoke filled bars with Room in the title turning in your parlay cards or picking up white envelopes. Then I have the solution for you. Please call Christopher Lee for all your wagering needs. Chris and his Rastafarian partners can handle any of your request. Handling and processing fees may apply............In between taking request all weekend this modern day Jimmy the Greek found the time to submit a star studded lineup, that only a genius could have drafted and watch them score point after point after point and maintain the 4-1 record which places him just behind the Nicks and Collies. For the Knockers it was another loss in what could develop into the worst 64/60 season ever when combined with a last place finish in baseball.

Bo's Bad Asses 118 vs. Barboursville Stars 84. A big swing game for two teams trying to get into contention. Setting at one win this was a important matchup that went to a revitalized Asses team who have no doubt used my critical evaluation from two weeks ago as a motivational ploy. The Asses don't have the starpower but a nice two week stretch from a old WR and two RB's who have found some playing time give this team something to get excited about of course a 17 point defensive output from the defense doesn't hurt. I suppose that's why they were drafted so early. The biggest news to come out of this game was the trade by the B'Ville Stars. As Clark W Griswold once said "If I woke up with my head sewn to the carpet I couldn't be more surprised than I am now." That is how I felt when I opened up a Yahoo Created League Email which can only mean a trade transaction, and saw the B'Ville Stars as trading partner. I could be wrong but I believe this is McClung's first 64/60 trade and this guy isn't a rookie within the league. Typically I expect a one sided offer going the way of Chris or a fire sale discount going to Ward, please no McCann Comments. McClung congrats on the first move and I hope this experience will open more trade avenues come baseball season.

Dominoes 137 vs. Duck Hunt NES Style 96. If Ward's ego wasn't big enough already the success of steelerdominationexceptwhenonbyewee will only elevate it. I must say I would by gloating if I had drafted not only the top team but also another dominate team ranked in the 3 spot. Unlike my evaluation of the Jit's I happen to believe Malone has some staying power with Top 10 production at 3-4 positions. Malone's season will come down to attention. Not attention to detail that has clearly been thrown out the door. I'm talking any attention. Considering the Steelers were started on a bye, Donnie Avery is still on the roster and is on IR, and Donald Brown and his 16 points this season are still on the roster, I'll conclude Malone isn't a hands on guy. You can make the playoffs with a talented team regardless of attention paid. However you will not win a league the quality of the 64/60 on cruise control. Fenney doesn't have that problem. His participation is second to a few but better than most. Fenney is a classic example of a team that is one player away. Good QB multiple WR threats but no threat at the RB position. Thomas figured to be a steady play but the Saints offense is sluggish at best and Stewart/Lynch/Jackson are all dreadful options at this point. Bill package a Moss or Wayne for a elite back and you have yourself a playoff team.

Pick Up Of THe Week- Ryan Torain-Bo's Bad Asses. A team desperate for RB stole Torain of Waivers for 11 bucks considering a lesser back in Jackson went for 100. Torain may not be elite but he should be the clear number one and will be effective enough in Portis's absence to replace him as the starter upon his return.

Head Scratchier Of The Week- 12th Rd Kickers/9-Irons/Hunters. All are in need of another RB option all had the chance to win the aforementioned Torain by bidding a amount over $12 and not a one did.

Me Vs The World Challenge

World K Hartley It does appear he has his job back- 0 YTD 19
BCFP K 7 YTD 29

World D Jets 17 YTD 49
BCFP D 19 YTD 50

Josh,

This is by far the greatest piece you have ever written.

Excellent.

I can't believe you are still ragging on my team.

We are a complete powerhouse with no apparent holes.

Sidney Rice will be back in a few weeks. Then I will break 64/60 records.

Thank you for this. I stayed up late to catch it.

"Don't even respect yo ass. That's why it's time for the Dr. to check yo ass."

True.

*I found my original Chronic album and have been rocking out to it. I suggest you do the same.*

Sincerely,

Jesse

It certainly was and still is to this day a artistic masterpiece.

Indeed.

I'm confident the advice given in the album will carry those, who take it earnestly, far in life.

Look at Snoop Dogg for example; seems like a well rounded citizen (sans the murder charge).

Explicitly,

Jesse

There is simply not enough activity on this blog.

I'm thinking the porn review wasn't such a bad idea.

Couldn't agree more. Part of the upcoming 64/60 Blog meeting will be a invite to Butch Lemaster encouraging a return of the Porn Review. Speaking of contributions how many post could I count on you for each week and what topics would you prefer to cover?

Josh,

At this point, you can only count on me for a number of replies and the occasional topical post.

I am fairly busy with some other stuff.

I'm glad to hear Lemaster will be at the upcoming meeting.

When is it?

Jess
