How 'Pac Man', Bob Arum, and a 'fear of needles' killed boxing

Mayweather-Pacquiao. The next super fight for the sport of boxing. This fight arguably would have been better than any fight, regardless of weight class in the history of the sport. Biggest pay day, Biggest pay per view buys that would have made Vince McMahon and Dana White both commit suicide. In the new colossus that is Cowboys Stadium...This fight had it all. Including the two best pound for pound boxers in the world, and arguably maybe two of the greatest to ever put on the gloves. Then came the showmanship. The stumping. The grandiose that is the professional athlete's ego. It was a head game. Now, a cancelled fight and a defamation lawsuit could be a death blow to Boxing. And let's face it, even all of you out there who are MMA haters and have pictures of Teddy Atlas and Burt Sugar in you living rooms have to admit, Boxing has been on the decline, has been for years...And it did not need this...not now.
Olympic Drug Testing was requested. A gammit of test and a battery of blood work..all random... the same way they do Olympics. Nearly impossible to hide anything from those folks. Pac, in a word, was not like that. Apparently, the needles scare him. I think it was his cover being blown which frieghtened him more. I have no proof, but when your objections are because you don't want the randomness to interfer with your training, but you will do it until a certain point as long as you know exactly when that cut off date is, and you will take a blood and urine test directly after the fight...Sounds to me like somebody's cycle will be nearing it's end about a week before the proposed fight. Should be plenty clean by then. Your method of choice, a urine test conducted by a profesional sports agency, of the like that handles the NFL and MLB testing. Good choice, you can hide about anything if you know what you are doing...and all they have is urine tests. No Blood work. HGH and a plethera of other Performance enhancing drugs are not detectable in Urine tests. They have to have blood work done to be detected.
Their stance has a very weak foundation. As if it wasn't already riddled with a heavy dose of the perculiar, his camp also stated that why would an amatuer testing body be allowed to do the testing anyways? They specialize in amateur athletes, and they are professional, so to them, it makes more sense for a group who specializes in the testing of professional athletes do the testing. I am glad that made sense to them. It is complete bullshit. Tell you what, Bob Arum, why not just have the WWE do the testing? And speaking of Arum, The Mayweather camp, which granted is similar in it's own ways to a psychiatric breakdown with the parties involved, stated what any clear thinking, objectional person would conclude from all of this, perhaps Manny was or is hiding something. Arum, while drinking margeritta's at a beach resort in Mexico said that the Pacquiao contingency would be filing a defamation of charecter lawsuit in regards to comments made by the Mayweather's and Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya's promotional factory who was promoting Mayweather in this one.
Now, those Pac fans out there will do nothing but refute all of these claims and call jealousy on all those who have made them. They will say the Hatton's and the like are ocming out of the wood work saying they suspected Pac of using PED's merely because Pacquiao beat them. They will say what a cluster fuck the Mayweather Family dynamic is and nothing they say is valid. They will turn red in the face telling us all how stupid all this is and is completely unfounded. They will be passionate in their defense of their little fillipino hero...because they are afraid that all of it may be true.
Just running his cock-sucker and being the showman he is, Mayweather started playing a mind game, he was hyping his fight, making a huge payday for himself a sure thing, getting on TV and in the papers, being the lead story on SportsCenter, promoting himself, but he also was doing it to get into Pacquiao's head. He wanted an advantage, any advantage he could get. Let's face it, he even knew that he very well was not 100% certain he was walking out of that fight with his record in-tact. Not only did he get in his head, but he pretty much skull fucked Pacquia and his whole camp while he was there. He won round one. To me, if this fight never happens, it is Pacquiaos fault. All he has to do is accept the terms of testing. Then, there would be no question. Both fighters would be subject to the same testing, both operating on the same time frame, both subject to the complete randomness of the testing. IF your clean, and you are training the right way, a random blood test that would take about 15 minutes tops out of your training day is not going to set you back. If it would set you back, you are either not training right or fucking anemic to the point you probably shouldn't be able to pass a physical to get in the ring at all. Sorry Pac Man...but your arguement is weak, and you make no sense, and it has nothing to do with your poor english skills.
Like I said, I have no solid evidence that Pacquiao is a doper. But then again, I have even less proof that he is not one.
If they do fight, Pac has 3 rounds to score the knockout or hurt Mayweather to some degree of hampering the rest of his fight performance. if nothing happens in those first three rounds, Mayweather wins the fight.
Another black-eye for boxing, but this one may just swell the vision shut for good. Dana White and UFC look to be the real winners.
However, Dana is a fucking moron, He actually believes that more Boxing fans watch UFC/MMA bouts and has a bigger cross-over audience with them than he does with pro wrestling...Just for that, When your UFC show goes up against the WWE's RAW, which is coming up soon, Vince McMahon's show will win the ratings share for the night. He may even triple the amount of viewers your show does. And, he is bringing in Mike Tyson to host that night. But, at least you do have the brains to admit in interviews that Vince's show has way more viewers and will more than likely pull in bigger ratings. Way to save face Dana.

But, then again, I could care less about the use of steroids...Hell if it wasn't for Acne, little testicles,prolonged-use enducing cancer of said little testicles, and Chris Beniot...I'd use em' myself..
