Key the Sachmo music now please....

Big Blue Nation is collectively looking for a 'morning after pill' today...well, at least the members of Big Blue Nation are the same ones who demanded Tubby's head and rushed us into BCG. I am not among those. There is no doom and gloom this morning from where I sit in the Nation. You see, Devan Downey may infact OWN us. We may have lost our first game at being ranked at the #1 spot. We may have to listen to the constant slams and slurs from the likes of PAt Forde, Bobby Knight, Dick Vitale, insert any random ESPN employee here, about how Kentucky was over-hyped, about how Kentucky was lucky to be where they were with a FRESHMAN star...yadda yadda yadda... We had to listen to Jimmy Dykes, who normally I like, but last night, for some reason rubbed me the wrong way. Might have been my frustration, not quite sure. In any event, I see no doom. I see no gloom. What I do see is BIG BLUE skies ahead. We lost on January 26th, not MARCH 26th. Big Difference.
Today, The CATS had to wake up with a feeling they have yet to experience. A morning after loosing. They have to let that settle on their stomach. They are not gonna like that feeling. The taste in their mouth is going to be even worse. Congratulations SC, you did what thus far was impossible and that was hand the CATS a loss...But in the process, You have just pissed off the BIGGEST GIANT in all the land. Now, after the Cats analyze what happened, re-commit to the goal, well, America the rest of your teams are FUCKED. From here on out, I think we are going to see a different group of CATS. Overnight, Freshman became Seniors. Now, it's curtains for the NC A Double.
So, ESPN, FUck You.
John Clay, Please, shut the fuck up.
Pat Forde, Fuck you too.
Rick Pitino, NIT.
Devan Downey, Great game Lil' guy...Fuck you also.
Am I going to say we needed that loss? Well, No. I don't think any team in competitive sports needs a loss. Kinda' defeats the purpose of competition. Sometimes they work in your favor and make you correct errors and become more determined to win. We may not have needed it, but we got it. And we will use it to fuel our machine.
Last night was new to these young Cats. Hell, it was semi new to the veterans like Patterson...Everything really is a new experience this season for everyone involved. Now the Butterflies are gone. The what if's have all been answered. The what if's and Butterflies were the only thing keeping the rest of you safe. Now that they are gone, well, May God have mercy on your souls.
By losing the best team in the land, well, they just got better.
ESPN, get ready ... You are going to be witness to the most vulgar display of domination the NCAA world has ever seen.
It was a physical game, and yes, some calls did not go our way and the refs let a little too much go, on both ends in the paint. The crowd was amped up and it trully was SC's 'SUPER BOWL'.. John Wall is still the BEST Player in the country, and I am serious when I say that Demarcus Cousins is #2. Deandre Liggins WILL end up being very special in Lexington.. Patrick Patterson may be invisible to some, but if you know what your looking for, He can be spotted a mile away.
Chris Lee was the person who took me up on the Coach Clarke Party Specail Challenge...He can now be called Judas to all of us in Big Blue Nation. That was some bad Karma Chrissy.......
GO CATS!

I have also collected some of the best quotes from facebook posted in last 12-14 hours...They are a fabulous read for entertainment value regardless of your affections towards the Cats...Drop us a line and I will email the banter to you...

As long as the Cats leave the Astroglide at home when they come to Knoxville, I will be a happy man.

Ironclad, What are the odds you could maybe get a good deal on some tickets for us in Knoxville?

Imperfect Delay and Gain Estimation,

I'd say the odds of a good deal are bad. I can certainly get some tickets though. I'll to see if I can get them through the company.

Guttentaug! If you don't mind to look into it that would be killer and snuff...I would love to infuriate a bunch of Vols fans in their own dojo...And, just so you know, Price is of little concern.
