The coaching carousel has been in full swing in the NC A-double for a while now, and now, It's Lexington's time to shine... Coach Brooks stepped down and retired as, not only, The CATS head coach, but I would suspect as a coach period. Brooks led Kentucky back from SEC obsurity and left Vandy there all alone. Bowl games...BOWL WINS. Kentucky , thanks to Brooks, has become a very capable middle of the pack SEC team, which is where Cat fans could only once dream of getting. Brooks has had his detractors, but I am not counted among them. Rich Brooks, or PaPaw, Did more for Kentucky Football than anyone could have imagined was possible, we went from one good team every ten years or so to a Program, A BOWL WINNING SEC COMPETING PROGRAM. And, to be honest, I don't think that anyone else could have done any better of a job than did Brooks. Joker Phillips, the watchdog groups are already assembling for your tenure. He is on a time line of 2 years for me personally, If we have lost any amount of ground in the SEC, I say adios. Mike Leach's crazy ass is still my prefered hire...but, one has to think, with Kentucky a REAL SEC program now, could it be an attractive place for coaches to want to come, once of course, their mid-major success have over hyped them to warrant interest???

Timmy of Nazereth had his swan song, and it was sweet as Sugar. He had a career day and , quite frankly, basically bitch smacked the Bearcats. I loved this game. Not because I am a Tebow fan, I am the opposite, but because Cincinnati was finally shown what happens to all teams who fuck with the SEC...You get destroyed. What a cluster fuck it would have been had the media hyper-boil surrounding Cincy would have gotten them in the BCS Title game.. Seriously though, Tim Tebow may be the Greatest College Football Player Ever, and he is certainly the Greatest of My Lifetime thus far. I am a better person for having seen Timmy Play...

Hey Burt, your apology you issued about the PAC 10 stumping you had been doing all season is not going to cut it...You actually said that the Pac 10 was pound for pound better than the SEC...No amount of Apologies could ever erase that comment from memory...and it is one for which you should, and WILL be reminded you made for season's to come...

Ok, Boise State prooved to me that they do in fact, belong in the conversation of BCS Title consideration...at least they belong in the conversation for now...

Do you remember the Monday Night Wars from the late 90's? well, january the 4th they came back. TNA and the WWE(F) went head to head in an all out ratings war. I watched none of it but the inner dork in me did check out the post event reports. Interesting stuff happened on both shows...Word is it will continue as the Dawning of MNW II is on the horizon.
