Royal Ambassadors: Rose Hill Christian returns to whipping boy role in 16th Region

Rose Hill is about as far removed from the days of OJ Mayo, Bill Walker, and even Dakotah Euton and Chad Jackson as well as the girls teams which ran rampant over the region for several years, as they could be. Not to mention the most recent exodus of players from Rose Hill that bolstered local teams like Fairview and Ashland, among some others, with those transferring players.

The Royals have returned to their status of region whipping boy, getting blown out of every gym most of the time on their travels through the 16th.

Many people say that it's not fair, both for Rose Hill and their opponents, to participate in these games... These very one-sided affairs. It accomplishes nothing and more than likely the team in these games not named Rose Hill, will not be tested in the least.

Some, say that Rose Hill needs to join one of the state's Christian school athletic leagues, to insure a more level playing field, and by that what they really mean is removing the nuisance of having to schedule the Royals each season.

Hard to believe that just a few years back, schools were trying to work around playing Rose Hill for completely different reasons.

Boyd County rolled into their small neighbors gym and handed the Royals, and Lady Royals, sizable defeats.
