Always one to lend a hand the Factory has taken the time to list positional adjustments that should be noted. In those fancy glossy magazines, most of you have likely picked up this week, players are listed by position. Problem is there isn't a universal system all sites use. Sure we have a 20 Games played limit but Prospect, Players returning from a extended abscence, or players who have limited starting experience and thrusted into a new role, may have varying eligibility from site to site. As members of the 64/60 our only concern is what Yahoo has them listed as. While I will no doubt have to revisit this topic this coming Saturday for those who A) view this website and B) take my excellent advice as the gospel, here is some fantasy goodness on a Sunday Evening.
Bryan LaHair- Cubs Opening Day 1B is only eligible as a OF to begin the season.
Mat Gamel- The front-runner for the 1B job to begin the season is only eligible at CI.
Chris Carter- In the OF/1B/DH mix in Oakland is only eligible at 1B.
Matt LaPorta- Now in the OF mix with the Sizemore injury is only eligible at 1B.
Kevin Youklis- Missed most of 2011 and listed in most publications at 3B. Youklis has 1B and 3B eligibility in Yahoo.
Luke Scott- The OF also has 1B eligibility in Yahoo.
Yonder Alonso- Could be the Padres Opening Day 1B but only has OF eligibility to begin the season.
Kyle Blanks- In the 1B/OF mix for the Friars qualifies at both in Yahoo.
Eric Young- Likely to begin the season at AAA but the OF does have 2B eligibility in Yahoo.
Billy Butler- Listed by most publications as DH only does have 1B eligibility in Yahoo.
Johnny Damon- Listed by many publications as DH only does have OF eligibility in Yahoo.
Utility Only- David Ortiz, Jesus Montero, Travis Hafner, Vladimir Guerrero, Manny Ramirez, Jim Thome
