West Virginia's wagons are heading...West...Early...

It's now official. WVU will be a part of the Big 12 starting next season, instead of having to wait it out another season or two in the vanishing Lower-case East.
West By Gawd will be an official member of the Big 12 starting in July, and in doing so a price tag of $20 million in damages will be hanging from their suitcases. However, some sources, including Charleston-based Metro News, have said that their new conference will foot half of the bill.
This changes things ever so slightly for the Mountaineers in football, as with what they have coming back and their offense being so potent, they were a shoe in to win the Big East it seemed. Now, Dana Holgorsen and the Mounties will face a tougher road to conference glory in the Big 12.

Nick Saban had previously went to bat for WVU for admittance into the SEC. Hard to believe we passed up on all that class.
