Car POOLE lane?

The Stacey Poole saga in Lexington has taken a turn. Perhaps more precisely, a wrong turn.
No, Stacey Poole, nor his dad, has made any decision about staying a Cat or not. However, he, along with Terrence Jones made a big impact on the city last night.
Around 2 am, Poole and Jones, who if you follow Twitter know that those two seem inseparable off the court, where passengers in a SUV, driven by Larry Warren that was involved in an traffic accident in the wee hours. Warren is a high school friend of Jones' from Portland, and it was indicated that he may also be a student at the university, however we can't confirm.
And, before the Cal-Cat haters can spin this into a sure plot of evil conspired by the kids, because they are Kentucky players so that makes them degenerates and of ill-repute, the SUV they were in was the car hit by a drunk driver. They did nothing, ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong.
Except for maybe Jones, who was reported to have left the scene of the accident. Now, the report is that he had become heated and decided to leave and cool off before he got into an altercation with the drunk driver of the other vehicle.
Poole was treated and released from a local ER for minor injuries he sustained in the collision. He put everyone's worries to bed, while everyone was probably in bed via Twitter, tweeting he was 'good' and thanked everyone who was concerned.
So get ready for it. Terrence Jones is going to be made out to be a fugitive from the law, the car was driven by a Columbian cartel member, the other driver was actually a target of Jones and company, it was a hit ordered by Cal, etc...
Unfortunately, for ESPN, Louisville, Ohio State, and Duke fans, None of the passengers nor driver of the Kentucky carrying SUV were suspected of being under the influence of anything, except maybe the craving for a chalupa, and no drugs or alcohol were found in the car for which they were riding.
And, you are going to have those they say Jones should be at least suspended for leaving the scene of the wreck. However, look it up, I really don't think he did anything that would constitute punishment.
But, you know a negative spin is coming.
Coach Cal did say that he will implement a curfew from this point forward.
Just as the sign Notre Dame slaps coming onto the field in football every game that reads:"Play Like a Champion Today.", Cal, in reference to a point he often makes, may be inclined to install such a sign at the Craft Center or perhaps the Wildcat Lodge. The sign will read as follows: "Nothing Good Happens After 2 A.M."
The above photo was used from footage as covered by WLEX.

Update****** Apparently, some sources are reporting that Jones was indeed under the influence of alcohol and that is why he fled the scene. Reports are that he was found at a location a few blocks away and was interviewed by police there.
Lexington-Fayette Police have not released the official report, however.

And in regards to Stacey Poole, I think this situation may have just took that decision to transfer or not out of his and his dad's hands. I think Cal will now be the one who says if he can stay or not.

Jones was benched tonight for the start of the 50 point win over Marist. He did get in the game though and performed up to expectations, so obviously, he wasn't hungover that bad....
